The Britney Spears comeback tour is on, despite getting off to a slow start.
Brit's fans' hopes were crushed last Wednesday when an alleged show at L.A. burlesque club Forty Deuce was revealed to be merely a rehearsal. Rumors are now circulating that she will back out of planned shows this week at three California House of Blues locations.
But a source tells Usmagazine.com that she will be performing, just not for long. "Britney's shows at the House of Blues are just a warmup," says the source. "They are just to get her feet wet."
And 25-year-old Brit will be doing it on her own, which means you shouldn’t expect snakes, waterfalls, or Jon Voight. There will be dancing, and it will be sexy, but it’ll be choreographed by Brit herself. The source explains, "Britney has much bigger things in the works...it's just a small set to get her out there again."
Our source defines "small" as three or four songs. So, fans, shout out your requests early and often!

We don't like EMO but bands like Iron Maiden (whose newest album debuted at #9 in the US without eMptyTV or E2 (VH1) play), Judas Priest (whose last album debuted at #12 without airplay on the radio), Motorhead, Mastodon, Shadows Fall, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd (whose guitarist David Gilmour saw his album hit #6 without any eMptyTV play), Queen, Rush (who are to debut at #3 next week with their killer new album despite no eMptyTV play but word of mouth), The Who (whose last album debuted at #7 on the album charts), Jethro Tull, The Doors, The Sex Pistols, The Talking Heads, The Ramones and Nirvana among others have lasted and gain new fans EVERY YEAR whilst your beloved skank and gangsta rappers are dropping like flies.
Britney should be either institutionalized or DEAD from a drug overdose!

Rock and Roll music will always be around (has since the 1950s and will not ever die) whilst teen pop stars have a shelf life of four or five years before they FALL OUT OF FASHION!

When was a rock group number 1 on the album charts?
The answer is easy. Fall Out Boy's newest album Infinity on High debuted at #1 on the album charts this year. Modest Mouse's new album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank was #1 in February. Linkin Park are to debut at #1 with their new album in a week or two. Before that, it was Still the Same... Great Rock Classics of our Time by Rod Stewart. Before that, it was The Open Door by Evanescence. Also, the newest Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Godsmack and Bob Dylan albums all hit #1 on the album charts last year. Those aforementioned are all rock acts so rock is coming back BIGGER and BETTER than EVER.
Also, according to a news article in Reuters, rap and pop sales have DECLINED and rock and country are gaining full steam.
Many rock albums have held up over the years regardless if they were #1 or not. I mean The Ramones didn't have a #1 album EVER but how many bands did they influence? Everyone from Green Day to Nirvana to Fall Out Boy. Motorhead (who didn't sell many records) influenced bands like Metallica, Mastodon and Shadows Fall among others.
Many pop artists who sell alot of records eventually become a "whatever happened to" footnote in music history you f*cking dyk* c*nt!
Britney is like a c*ckroach. You get rid of her then she comes back UGLIER, CREEPIER and WORSE THAN EVER!

I think Britney Spears should definitely not go onstage in a bra and miniskirt like she is 19 again. She is looking terrible these days, bloated and scary. Until she gets back to her original hotness, she should take a long trip and work out alot and do some meditating and detox and come back THEN. i dont want to see her dancing around onstage like she is now, its pathetic.
