Usmagazine.com has learned that Howie Day has fallen off the wagon. The 26 year-old singer of "Collide" befriended Britney Spears while the two were at Promises in March, and was spotted hanging out with the popstar in L.A. on April 28. Today, a source tells Us: "He has some more issues he has to deal with."
When contacted, Day's rep had no comment.
Day's troubles date back to 2004, when he was arrested for allegedly locking a female fan in a bathroom, and breaking another woman's cell phone. "That was probably wrong of me," Day admitted at the time. "But I felt violated."

Howie is a very talented musician if you haven't heard his music, it's not for everyone and everyone wont like it but it's different. . Australia - Madrigals EP was really good with his effects pedals - "Bunnies" "Madrigals" and "Sorry So Sorry" are great songs. You have to see him in concert to really appreciate his talent..Can't wait for his new album to drop when he get's out and away from Spears, she is definitely lost...

Howie Day is an extremely talented musician, singer and song writer. You ask who he is and then in the same post you call him a Loser, a psyco, a nerd , White Trash and GAY !! WOW ! A little judgemental considering YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO HE WAS. I wish him the best of luck on his recovery and look forward to his new CD.

Writing lyrics DOESN'T MEAN SHE IS A PROLIFIC songwriter. Sometimes, it is the people who write the songs who make it what they are. Aguilera's second album of creative control Back to Basics was a flop, BIG TIME! The woman just whines and cries. If it were not for these three skanks, who reduced music from an art form to a joke, music would still be refreshing.
The forefathers of rock was not just R&B or jazz, it was also classical music (many of rock's greatest pieces had classical overtones), opera and old English folk music (genres far removed from typical rock and roll).
We are FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT against people who have had careers due to either criminal records or how little clothing they wear or how big their T & A's (short for t*ts and *ss*s) are or how cute their faces are or how white man hates the black man or whatever.
We will continue our attack on scum like Britney, Paris, Beyonce and Christina until they are ALL EXTERMINATED!

Right to Rock: WTF???? Are you the only one to have any opinion on music??? I can't stand Britney but I happen to love Christina and she DOES write a lot of her songs. Howie Day is an incredibly talented musician and if any of you would pick up his CD and listen to it instead of wasting time on your computers commenting on how he looks, etc. then I think you would reach the same conclusion. Hopefully he can work past some of these issues and go on to make more music instead of wasting time with somebody who, in reality,has far more issues than himself.

Folks, move on to real music like The Ramones and Motorhead (all of these aforementioned artists have influenced more punk and/or metal bands and artists than either Britney or Christina Aguilera (or whatever that wh*re goes by) ever would). Those aforementioned acts, unlike Britney, may not have sold records and/or filled arenas but THEY SURE AS HELL could write their own songs, created albums that new generations of kids today discover and helped spawn music movements still going storng which are punk and speed metal respectively.
