Britney Spears spent her first night out of UCLA Medical Center at home with her parents.
After leaving the hospital (much to her parents’ dismay), she spent an hour driving around West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Pacific Palisades with a bodyguard in her new $50,000 Mercedes.
Puffing on a cigarette, the singer seemed “subdued and not quite as loopy,” an eyewitness tells Usmagazine.com.
She tossed a bodyguard out of her car and then picked up a paparazzo from the x17 photo agency while en route to the Beverly Hills Hotel at 3 p.m. PST.
There, Spears checked into a room and met with attorney Adam Streisand, whom she wants to be her new lawyer.
Her paparazzo beau, Adnan Ghalib, was also also on-hand.
Later that afternoon, Spears and Ghalib went to Streisand’s Century City law offices, but sneaked out of a side entrance to evade the 70 paparazzi and two hovering helicopters. They returned to the Beverly Hills Hotel for a few hours before returning to Spears’ Beverly Hills pad shortly before 9 p.m.
After midnight, Lynne was spotted leaving Spears’ home, but Jamie stayed overnight.

4:53 it's so awful that people are rooting and betting for her to kill herself. put yourself or the person that you love in her place...would you say the same thing..go KILL yourself so we don't have to hear or see you...people who do not have depression or mental illness will never understand...I hope britney's family will take legal action against the hospital and her psychiatrist for letting her out early because that is an early death sentence.

Mental illeness is not her fault. Plenty of people have it (celebs included). The people around her are to blame for not getting her the help she needs. She has been a mess for the past year and she needs people around who care enough to commit her for a long time. She's lucky she has the money to help herself because so many people like her end up on the streets or dead.

She seems to have split personality. A girl I went to shcool with was bipolar but she didn't act as crazy and manic as Britney. She seem to be helped with medication and more under control. Britney does takes meds but still acts off her rocker so I think drugs might be involved too.

My brother is bipolar and that is exactly how he acted, like Britney.I just thought he was on drug, but after awhile the suicide threat happen and I had to have him pick up on a psych code.They released him also to early and he stopped taking his med, because bipolar patients think they are not ill, the rebound was worse than before and I had to threaten the hospital if they released him to early again.Look Jamie has control over her again and she has been quiet all day, that is how it should be.They need to fire her Doctor, Sam hired her and she was the one who allowed her to check out of the hospital without the parent consent.They need to fire the new lawyers and hire her old one back, they need to fire everyone who Sam hired.God bless you Spear family I know the road you are taken, but soon Britney will see she is ill and take the medication, and she will be a proper mom to her kids.

I have dealt with bipolar schyzophrenia and this does not look like what I have seen with the person I went through it with or the other people in the hospital....some of it seems a bit calculated while the rest seems pretty strange. I beleive something is wrong but basically I just believe she is a drug addict who likes attention and everyone is using the mental disorder as a cover. I'm glad her dad stepped in, maybe he can help restore order for the limited time he is there.

I've sent in my application to the Real World. So I'm hoping to hear back from that. I'm putting A LOT of my eggs into that basket, the MTV basket.
