While Britney Spears has developed a devoted following among the children she teaches dance at North Hollywood's Millennium Dance Complex, her own sons may have moved on.
Sean, 2, and Jayden, 17 months, haven't seen their mother since the night of January 3, when she was involuntarily committed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center psych ward. (Relive Spears' days with her boys here.)
Spears' sons now stay full-time with ex Kevin Federline. "They have not been asking about Britney," a Federline source tells Us Weekly in its latest issue.
Nor do the adults in their life – their father, their grandparents, and the nanny – talk about mom. "They don't want to get them riled up," the source says. "They just keep them focused on activities."
Though an insider tells Us that Federline and Spears' parents won't let Britney speak on the phone to her sons either, she remains focused on her sons.
"She desperately wants the kids," a family source tells Us. "She cries about it."
"She hasn't put the children's belongings away," an insider said. "Her home has pictures of her kids everywhere. She loves them very much."
Despite the separation from her children and her ongoing legal woes, Spears' life is changing for the better. "There's been a real change in how she is because she has been smothered in love," a family source tells Us. "To suddenly know after all this time that she has support has been incredible for her."
"She knows that something is wrong with her," a source tells Us. "She knows that something can't quite be right because of the sheer fact she's separated from her kids."

It's possible to have 2 children, 2 years old and 17 months old i think they are only nine months apart. 2 years is 24-36 months (when you turn 3) 17 months plus nine months is 26 months so in that range yes it is possible and she wasn't too eager to keep her legs closed...

Its sad that she has been separated from her boys for two months. However the sheer fact of her financial wealth is making it possible for her to see them. It must cost at least 10,000 in fees to have all those monitors, bodyguards, lawyers. psychiatrists and whoever else is attending her visits If she was rich and famous she wouldnt be seeing them now.Children and mothers should not be separated at those early ages and the fact she has money to pay everyone has made her sons tramua lessenenrf.Kevin Federline seems like a decent human being. He could just find a new girlfriend get married and have stepmother take Britneys role.Theres alot of woman out there that would do that as well. Her family probably realize that she is still able to be a financially continuing asset for everyone She could still tour and have other albums produced.I don't believe she is intentionally trying to hurt anyone except maybe herself. She appears friendly and giving maybe not with any boundries.She is after all mentally ill and is diagnosed by her recent stay at UCLA as gravely ill. I do think she could have avoided some of these problems, but she was a sitting duck a golden duck.

Its possible to be 2 years old and have a sibling and 17 months. I'm 26 and one of my younger brothers is 25, but we are the same age for a month every year. We look like twins too. Lots of people are like that. Must be hell for parents though :)

i have no sympathy for britney! i'm 24 have 3! kids and my daughters are only 11 months apart! she could have stepped out of the limelight and taken time for herself and her boys after her divorce, but she didn't. instead she ran around with the likes of paris and showed her nether regions to anyone who'd look. i think that she needs the attention and she's not getting it in a positive way anymore so she'll take it in any form that she can get it. I just hope that she gets the help that she needs to become a normal, caring, healthy mother. she needs to realize that its not about her anymore, but about her 2 young boys. when you become a mother everything revolves around your children. unfortunatley her mom probably didn't tell her that one.

I think Britney is a spoiled brat who was used to getting her way all the time. even considering she comes from a wacked out family. her sister getting pregnant at 16, her drunk father, her greedy mother, i guess its true what i always said, you could hide behind all your millions but you cant hide your white trash background. thats what her kids will become. another breed of white trash. heath ledger was the wrong person to die. I am hoping the next time i pick up a US magazine, its about Britney's death.

I need to say this. If you look back britney wasnt bad until that bleep Kevin came in teh picture. the second thiong is that the money she gives him pays for teh other 2 kids too and shar has even admitted that he ahs never paid her any child suppport. Do people not see somethign her. He is a smooch and a gold digger. She is provong and you can see how hard she is working to get her life better to be a better person for those boy and when they go back n court the judge is going to finally bring up the fatc what kind of income that kevin will bring in so just wait and see

okay i have to say i would be loosing my mind to if people didnt leave me alone about my kods and the way that i parent them and besides not everyone is the same i am about to be a mom in a couple of weeks and im in foster care and let me tell you if they did what they did to you with my kid they would have problems and i dont think k-fed should get the kids because then you might not ever see them again and doesnt it worry you that you cant know what there doing every second because your not with them i mean come on everybudy has mistakes and we learn froim them so just get out there and try your hardest to get your babies back well later

Does britney have POST PARTUM DEPRESSION? I think thats whats making her feel this way. Has anyone thought of that. Plus if I lost my 2 sons I would be going crazy too. You dont know what the father is subjecting those kides to. She needs those kides to keep her sain and to take care of them thats what a mother does. I f it was the other way around where britney had the kides and kevin was going crazy would we be simpathetic for him? HELL NO men are much meaner and more violent them women.

I'm sorry but the people who say she's done nothing to be kept from seeing her kids are absolutely wrong. The woman is a walking disaster area. She's an accident waiting to happen. You don't put a kid in front of a speeding train and you don't out a kid with an unstable parent. She has repeatedly put those kids in stressful and dangerous situations. Driving with your kid on your lap is not dangerous?? The kid was 5 months old. That dumb b!tch was in a convertible. If she even got in a minor collision, the kid would have hit his head on the steering wheel, possibly hurting him badly or even killing him. If she got in more-than-a-minor collision, he definitely would have been killed, either from hitting the steering wheel or flying out of the damn car since it had no roof. She kept one of them in the bedroom with her and refused to come out and was so upset they carted her off in an ambulance. How must he have felt, trapped in there with her? She should not be allowed to see her children until she gets her sh!t together, end of story. I think it is long past due, as a matter of fact.

Kevin did not say that the kids do not ask about her - according to the writer of the article, it was a source that said that. Kevin, his lawyer, and everybody else has said that they want the boys to be able to see Britney. What has happened in Britney's life is not Kevin's fault - it's Britney's. She is an adult. She has made choices that were not good for her. Now, she has to get better and turn her life around. Her life started going downhill before Kevin even entered the picture. Remember Jason Alexander and the 2-day marriage.

I don't feel sorry for Britney or Kevin Federline. I feel sorry for those beautiful little boys those two just so carelessy brought into this world. She had children for ALL the wrong reasons. I really, really feel sorry for those sweet little boys. Not even three years old and they've already lived a lifetime. Mabey its britney karma, she seemed fine when she was married to kevin, let's not forget how she got with him while shar was pregnant with his child. There was no sign of lunatic with britney at all she flossed kevin with her show chaotic, keep nagging him when he was with his boys that she ovualating to get pregnant. She thought her children was going to look as cute as shar's, (britney shar is a black women, you and kevin are white) once she had the kid she treated him how he looked I guess, taking her disappointment out on the kid.
