1. She made the decision to air her life in front of the camera.
2. She made the choice to marry K-Fed and air their life in front of the camera.
3. She made the choice to live her life in the public eye and act like an idiot KNOWING that it was going to be in front of the camera.

Are you catching the pattern here? I'm sure that now that she is having a breakdown, she would like the cameras to go away, but we all know that it is not going to happen that way for her. WAY too much money to be made for the Paps who are doing their job. Maybe she will learn something from this and maybe she won't. I don't know her and I don't care to.

My heart goes out to the children who have to deal with this and even K-fed who has to explain to the children that the men in the white coats had to take Mommy away for a little rest.

I do however hope that she can come through this with the knowledge of how to prevent it from happening again. I still will stand by my belief that nobody has held a gun to her head, she has caused this on her own.

Yeah exactly you don't know her and you spend so much time worrying about her, which is pathetic, because all in all you DON'T know her personally. Do you know how ridiculous it is to care for someone you never have and probably never will meet? You idolize a fantasy. Spend that energy on your own lives and believe me the world would be a better place.

Yes, I think Britney is just having a hard time. Think of all the crazy things you have done in your life...now imagine there were cameras following your every move, making up stories that were half truths. It's easy to point fingers at others, but the reality is that we are not in her shoes. She's a human being too, with emotions,feelings, and people who love her. I hope she gets through all this soon. Remember we are who we are at our weakest times in life. If life was a piece of cake we'd all be shallow...we would not appreciate all that we have. Sometimes it takes almost losing it all to realize you have it all. I think she will be stronger because of all of this turmoil she is enduring. I wish her well.

Pray? Everyone is saying pray for this girl? First she's no longer a child very much a Woman with two children of her own capable of making her own decisions.

Secondly I pray that she won't look so GROSS when she leaves rehab. Without the Blond extensions, makeup, and bling she's nothing. Quit putting her up on a pedestal that doesn't exist. Women like her are a dime a dozen. Right now she is at rock bottom: Bald looking like a dude, fat, and unwanted. It's going to take more than Rehab to turn everything around for this spoiled Brat.

What you people should be concerned about and praying for is World Peace. It seems that most people have forgotten that terrorists are very much still rampant. People are being killed all over the world and kids are starving all over the world. Maybe Britney could get off her fat bleep and start crusading on behalf of "real" child victims.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? You REALLY think that WE are to blame for her stupid mistakes? I don't remember forcing her to start singing or forcing her to marry someone for 55 minutes or even forcing her to go out without underwear and whats more, I don't remember forcing her to marry K-Fed. She is an adult. She makes her own choices. Just like everyone else inthe world, she needs to own up to her own mistakes. You bleeding hearts can feel sorry for her all you want, for the rest of us who live outside of your fantasy world, we choose to call a spade a spade.

I think we are forgetting about the real child here.. the child that was britney spears... how can you have no empathy for this child that was used as a work horse from the time she was a child to be a cash cow... a girl who was treated like a goddess because of her talents and marketablity... what else did you expect to happen? when a grown adult feeds the every need of a child so to not disturb their cash cow... how did you expect her to react to that situation she was given everything she could ever want and has had it all stripped away by the stalking papparazzi.. we act surprised like we haven't ever seen this before.. look at michael jackson, cory feldman, jodie sweetin, gary coleman, drew barrymore who was given drugs and alcolol at 8... obviously we adults need to step on and place some laws and restrictionsthe list can go on and on... this children are caged animals stripped of their dignity and freedom and we dare judge them... its like when someone writes something about you on the bathroom wall in middleschool and you feel like the whole world knows.. but for them the whole world does know... they are humiliated daily and for what for our amusement..its sick and sad and unfortunatly there are children invovled...

Without the press there would be no Britney Spears. She has courted the press for years when it was convenient and advantageous for her career. I do not feel sorry for her - she wants the money and the fame - there is a price. Without the press, Britney would be just the trailer trash that she has proven herself to be. Too bad she and Kevin split up - they were made for each other. Nobody holds a gun to her head when she is taking drugs. I feel so sorry for her little boys - their gene pool leaves so much to be desired.
