Fresh from obtaining a California driver’s license, Britney Spears got back behind the wheel Tuesday night.
She fled the Peninsula Hotel in her white Mercedes around 8 p.m. for a 25-minute drive to her nearby home in Malibu. After a one-hour stay, she swapped wheels, getting into a Mini Cooper and stopping off at an unidentified house before heading home at 11 p.m.
Earlier that day, Spears got a temporary paper license after Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, who's overseeing her custody case, had given temporary custody of sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, to her ex Kevin Federline because Spears couldn’t show proof that she was a legal driver.

Tweety- Listen Sweet pea when you move out of state your suppose to change your drivers license. So let's say you have a car and you register it in whatever state your in but have a drivers license from a different state. The dept of mtr vehicles don't like that and it's the law to comply with these rules. SO why would you not obey??? so you can pay fines and lose money out of your pocket? No person with a brain would do that

You know what tho I'm gonna be 30 next Jan & I look back at my late teens/early twenties and boy did it suck being hurt and going thru that experience but you know what it made me a better & stronger person. I don't understand why family just can't come get her from LA and take her back home to Louisianna to recover from whatever she is going through right now. If I was a relative of hers and I was deeply concerned about her, I would find some way to go get her and bring her back to her home town and get her back to reality.

I totally have to agree with 3:05 PM WineMeDineMe69Me. He might have stressed her out a bit, but you have to remember this girl isn't a teenager, she's a grown woman 5 years from turning 30. She's a MOTHER for god's sakes, not a babysitter. I'm definetly not saying every mother has to be perfect, but when you have kids it's not all about you anymore. When you can get past blaming other people for your problems, then there's no more denial and you can be on your way to picking yourself right back up again.

not true, sweetheart!! she knew what she was getting into!! many of us have had crappy relationships, including myself. i have filed bankruptcy over my former fiancee, he was the biggest piece of $hit that ever walked the planet, but I do not blame him for my current problems, they are the result of MY lifestyle. anyone who can blame a situation like hers on a former husband might as well be calling the kettle black. he may have had some of an effect on it, emotionally, but we are made strong enough to handle stuff like this.

Besides she KNEW she had to get one to keep her kids, they gave her time and she didn't care. If you were going to lose your kids over something like that would you waste anytime? Weeks after the birth of her second child, she took the right steps into getting rid of her problem, which was K-Fed. Unfortunately, it was too late she was now mother to two baby boys. He was, from the beginning, after his own personal interest and she was his meal ticket. She is stuck and she does not know what to do or where to turn!
These awful gossip columns and magazines will definitely help this piece of crap man further hurt this woman as they keep after her, with their hounding ways, until he gets full custody of those boys. K-Fed is playing the public no different then when he played on this woman's emotions to secure his future with her money and stardom.

The little one doesn't know her cause she was in rehab when he was so little. Silly girl what do you have to look forward to in your life? Judges almost NEVER take the kids away from their mother. Even if they abuse alcohol/drugs so she must have done or not done something major! She is an A #1 stupid girl.
