FACEBOOKI will admit that I was on the hate K-Fed bandwagon when they first hooked up. But you know, the more I think about it, the more that I am on his side. Britney is an adult. She is responsible for any and all actions that she does either to herself or others. Now granted, she has distanced herself from everyone in her life that helped her before. Family, friends etc. That to me is a very strong sign of addiction. And it has NOTHING to do with Kevin. Brit had every opportunity to clean up and present herself to the judge as a responsible parent. She didn't. Instead she proved that she is NOT responsible in many areas. Her constant clubbing, attention-seeking, scantily clad and erratic behaviours show that she obviously has problems but does not want to admit that. Kevin cannot be blamed for anything she has done by her own actions. That is a straight up cop-out. The children need to be protected and Kevin is the only one I see doing this. He is not parading his children down the most photographed street in Hollywood everyday...she does. In fact, you never see Kevin in the limelight with his kids...BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT THAT FOR HIS CHILDREN. That is a parent through and through. Regardless of what you think of him he has shown that he is an adult and can be responsible. This is not about money. This is about those 2 beautiful little boys who need a parent to shield them from the media and allow them to be children. Something that their own mother is not able to do. britney needs help and this is the only way she may be forced to get it. I know i would do anything and everything possible if I ever lost custody of my children and sadly, I don't see Britney reacting the same way.

Just hours after a judge upheld Monday's decision to give full custody of her children to ex Kevin Federline, Britney Spears checked into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Sources tell Usmagazine.com that the pop star arrived around 6 p.m., and, according to a hotel employee, Britney "looked like she was in a really good mood" -- despite the day's dramatic events. A source tells Us that Spears got herself a room on the 11th floor of the luxury hotel.
Later, Spears and a bodyguard walked out of the hotel and down the sidewalk alongside nearby Beverly Blvd. to a Starbucks. After fetching a drink, they hopped inside a trailing paparazzi photographer's vehicle for a ride back to the hotel.

Mental illness most likely cannot be determined until she is sober. There is no way any professional remotely familar with the topic could not see that she has some substance dependency issues.
I have a feeling that a lot of people (in general) out there say mental illness in order to not say substance abuse because there is still such a stigma that goes with it. There shouldn't be. People do often do crappy things under the influence and when addicted, that doesn't make them a bad person.
She needs to get sober first and foremost.

Why not get the girl on dope, pregnant? What did he have to loose? It was easy for him to pop to girls with Shar and walk away, because Shar had no money for him. Britney would be no different, just that he would be guaranteed MONEY, all he had to do was keep her on dope then swindle her into popping some kids.
It worked, he has played everyone from day one!!

I don't care about Brit's album or if she makes a comeback professionally. Harvey was on our local TV station this a.m. and he's now saying the judge does not think she is an alcoholic/drug abuser but that she has psychological problems. That's pretty obvious. This girl has made some crappy choices and done some stupid things. I tend to believe that her acting out, etc., is mental. I hope she gets help. She needs to be under psychiatric care, med's if needed, etc.
I just hope she gets the help she so desperately needs. It's probably like talking to a wall for the people that love her. I think it's going to be extremely difficult for anyone close to her to help her. Something needs to be done. For me, it's not even about who has custody of these kids and who doesn't. Britney is sick. Mentally ill. Ragging on her for anything else is just idiotic.
I'm not a fan of the popstar. I'm not into that type of music. I just care about her as a human being.

I try not to judge her on her personal life however I do think that the children should be protected and that is what the courts are trying to do they have much more information on this battle then we do. for the judge to take away her children she must be doing something wrong. It is very hard for a mother to lose costudy. My mother was an alcholic and my father tried to get coustdy of my brother and he did not get it.
Britney spears is immature, self-centred, and not even trying to be a parent. I guess the reality that parenting is a 24 hr, 7 day a week job got to her, and she realized that she doesn't have what it takes to be responsible.
Any parent who put their kids first would not have "ooops, did I do that"? missed drug/alcohol testing and would not have drove around without a license, despite being ordered to rectify these things.
Money does not make a parent, and although Kevin Federline may not have much money, he appears to be the better parent.

But like a lot of "boy bands" at the time when she launched her career, she just had the face and look for what could sell records at that time. These record producers know what they're doing. All of a sudden there was Britney and Christina and Jessica and Mandy. Britney hasn't made an album in 4 years so we'll see how this does. It all sounds like crap to me and I stand by what I said- in MY opinion, she has no talent. If she is talented why does she have to lipsync? And I think from the MTV video music awards we can pretty much end all rumors that she can still dance.

They put the most insignificant Britney stories on here because we keep on posting messages. I have no shame or scruples about the whole thing. If you want Britney left alone then don't write messages. You are part of the problem, not part of the solution, when you do that. I can't stand Britney and I want her to go off and do something good with her money. Even Paris Hilton went to Rwanda, Africa recently!
And yes, its perfectly normal to check into a hotel... but not when you can see your own house from the hotel balcony.
