Hahahahaha. Don't you people realise it's a singing competition. In other words, the final three should've been Melinda, Lakisha and Jordin. Blake sounds average, and at time's a little bit inexperienced. Simon was right, Jordin wiped the floor with him. Thank goodness Blake didn't win, that would've been the third injustice on the show. Overall best vocalist- Melinda, who showed power, great control and technique, the powerhouse would be Lakisha, and the best recording voice would be with Jordin. Since it's a singing competition, Melinda should've won. But meh, at least Jordin took it out in the end.

Love him or hate him, America - Blake Lewis is definitely in American Idol to win it! With the exception of Jordin (what happened?), most of our final six did justice to the Bon Jovi songbook, which will make it harder to say goodbye to not just one contestant (Chris), but two (Phil). However, such is life on the road to what will be a Jordin and Melinda final two.
When Mr. Bon Jovi advised the performers to make the songs their own, he found a star pupil in Lewis, who took the biggest gamble in Idol history with his heavily-beatboxed deviation from the "You Give Love a Bad Name" norm. Decked out in head-to-toe black with his blonde hair dyed to match, Lewis confidently imitated a record being put on the jukebox and launched into one of the most innovative performances of the show's six-season run. And – surprise! – even Simon Cowell gave him the green light. "That was absolutely the right thing to do and this is what will keep you in the competition,"
he told Lewis.
Last week's favorite, Jordin, seemed to lose her lyrical pizazz up in that Pam Grier 'fro of hers this week, but we prefer to chalk her flat performance this week up to the fact that she is only 17 and blissfully unaware of the special place "Livin' On a Prayer" has in America's heart. She'll be safe this week by default, but she best step it up next week to work her way into the final two where she belongs.
Capping off a near-perfect performance round was LaKisha Jones, who won her way back on the nation's good side with a soulful rendition of "This Ain't a Love Song." During her taped master class, she candidly told us "I've heard of Bon Jovi and I've seen him on Oprah but I've never heard his music." Well, no one would have guessed after that performance. As Cowell crowed "I could kiss you after that!"
