A teenager rebelling against their parents is hardly news -- unless that teenager is Rudy Giuliani's daughter! The AP reports that despite the fact that her dad is running for the Republican presidential nomination, 17-year-old Caroline Giuliani identified herself on her Facebook profile as a Barack Obama supporter.

Until this morning, Giuliani's profile listed her as a member of the Facebook group: "Barack Obama (One Million Strong for Barack)." After her allegiance was discovered by Slate.com, she left the group.

A spokeswoman for her father's campaign told the AP: "Before the presidential campaign got under way, Caroline added herself to a list on Facebook as an expression of interest in certain principles. It was not intended as an indication of support in a presidential campaign, and she has removed it."

On the campaign trail in Iowa, Giuliani told the press, "My daughter I love very much. I have great respect for her, and I'm really proud of her, and I don't comment on children, because I want to give them the maximum degree of privacy."

Obama's campaign did not have any comment on the incident. And while they may have lost a supporter in Caroline Giuliani, they continue to appeal to the Hollywood vote. Obama enjoys support from celebs such as George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, and Jessica Biel.

With star wattage like that, it's no wonder Caroline Giuliani was drawn to an opposing campaign!
