ABC/EDWARD HERRERA
In a dramatic rose ceremony on the November 19 finale of The Bachelor, Texas bar owner Brad Womack, 35, said goodbye to both of the show's finalists: real estate agent DeAnna Pappas, 25, and Phoenix Suns dancer Jenni Croft, 27.
Now Womack tells Us the real reason he let both ladies go.
"DeAnna and I had something that’s pretty special. But I did not see this crazy love that would turn into a lifetime," says the still-single Womack. "I’m still looking for the same things that I said all along — a best friend, a life-long partner and someone to fall madly in love with."
He tells Us that honesty was his policy: "I didn’t want to lead anybody on. I was very honest with both of the ladies about that."
To read more about what Womack thinks of his still-single status - and his response to those rumors that he's gay - pick up the new issue of Us Weekly.

Matt Grant- Best All-Time Favorite Bachelor!!
Hello Brad, how are you doing?I just stop by this forum, casually and did not resist to comment, so in my honest opinion i think that you should search for your soulmate in other way. I understand the idea of joing on this program, everyone needs love, no matter how or wherever, but i don't advice nobody to search a special half one by this condition, your intentions are good, pure and honest but i don't think so that some, maybe half of those girls were on the same emotional level, some human minds and hearths are just focus on get more than give back, so your final decision was the best. All this speculation about your sexuality are wortless and as you know you do not have to prove anything to anyone. Anyway ,i wish you a very good look futurely and try to find your true love in a old fashion way, maybe it work;)
greetings from norway
Brad if u really are searching for the ONE u can't just find it where u stay ...why not make an international BACHELOR search? i'll join!im thea by the way!: )
i really don't see anything wrong with brad..i know the feeling of searching for the right one..maybe he is not really into those women,so jen and de ann...move one!
well we can't blame him for not choosing any of the girls..i dated so many guys are good looking but still i don't find myself with them..he is not a coward he is just being true to himself...he is just hopeless romantic, maybe he is looking for something and when he couldn't find it the spark were gone for either of the both ladies.
My ALL-TIME FAVORITE was Byron. I personally love the rugged-ness in a man, besides the fact that I grew up fishing and camping & I do appreciate those things. And then there's always the fact that he is soooo handsome !
It takes a LOT of nerve to break up with someone in real life; imagine how much nerve it took with millions watching! I respect his decision - and his nerve!
Come on everybody ... This is "reality" TV!!!!! Does anybody think that maybe the producers from the "Bachelor" show has put him up to this? The producers are in charge of what airs and past participants have even said that the show just showed the "worst" of people. I also believe that the producers tell the bachelor and bachelorettes to do certain things. I think that the show would be boring if there wasn't drama in it. Give the guy a break. They (both the girls and guys) all know what they are getting into when they sign up for the show.
He'd have better luck going on a show for a bachelor looking for a bachelor.
I thought he was courageous in standing up in the end and not choosing either of them because they just weren't "THE ONE". How many divorces are necessary for people to realize that they're just not with THE ONE? Better safe than sorry. Hopefully those girls will get over it and move on because they, like everyone else in this world, deserve to be loved & cherished by someone. He's just not that person for them. I hope he does find that special someone as well.
i wanted him to pick jenni
he deffinatly lead DeAnna on teh most, that was such a bad move
what an asssss
what an asssss
All comments are cool. Look at www.deafnewspaper.com more interest! Awsome!
I think that he lead them both on. I think that even though he wasnt in love with the girls, he could have given it a chance with one of them. Keep dating them and see where it went. He didnt have to propose.
Why is he searching for fame simply because he didn't find the right girl? That's such a stupid accusation. Maybe he went in with the best of intentions but just didn't feel the thing for anyone. It's resonable to think your odds are good but then to realize the one just isn't there. It's better than getting engaged to please the public and then breaking it off two months later, like all the other bachelors.
He needs to just admit it that he used the show to be able to make himself known and all the while have 25? woman at his disposal to make out with and watch them all pine over him knowing he had no intention of choosing any of them. It was an 'added bonus.'In a way, shows like this make both sides look desperate and pathetic. I mean, who really expects to find 'marriage type love' in a setting like that? He knew it wasnt possible for him so he played along and got what he wanted out of it...more media attention for doing something different. Surely that was his game plan all along.
He's really hot. I think he'd look even better without the facial hair. I'm not a fan of hairy guys.
Seriously, how do you expect a guy to know who his soulmate is after 2 months of dating? And he spends a very small amount of time with each girl individually, so how well could he possibly really know these people? No wonder he didn't want to marry either one of them. That makes him pretty level-headed if you ask me. These girls are so ridiculous - sobbing and "falling in love" after 3 or 4 episodes. It's so pathetic. Plus, most of the girls are in it for their 15 minutes of fame. It's hard to take this show seriously.
Better yet, how about a combination Bachelor, Bachelorette show, starring Brad Womack and Jenn Scheff? The premise of the show would be to see which of them could find a soul-mate first? No time limit. Just line up the candidates, let them date to their heart's content, and wait, and wait, and wait...
Hot, hot, hot - this guy is beautiful!
I did watch the show and thought that he actually made a smart decision. I never saw what was so great about DeAnna - she seemed like a total beyotch.
Would LOVE to see another Bachelor season with him. Yum... easy on the eyes!!
I know all of you heart-broken ladies out there are saying "how could he do that to those poor girls?" But credit has to be given to him. He tried, you could see it from episode to episode..he tried to fall in love with one of those girls, and DeAnna and Jenni were the two girls that came the closest to being his soul mate. How much worse would it have been if he did choose one of them, but with false hope? With false affection? It would've been ten times worse if he chose one of those two over a small hunch. The thought of "I THINK I love this girl" shouldn't and didn't propel him to choose between DeAnna or Jenni...real love is not a second thought. Brad is still a very respectable, honest guy in my book. I give him props for doing what he did.
Haven't we wasted enough time on Brad Womack? He got his ten minutes of fame and pubicity for his bars, which is all he wanted in the first place. There's no law against that, but he needs to get over the fact that he's an unpopular guy at the moment. Admittedly, there are women who still find him attractive. Good. He needs to go back to Austin, date them all at once, and quit polluting the airwaves with his presence.
ANDY BALDWIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who really cares about this story? So he dumped both women, he would have dumped whoever he picked anyway, it is a proven fact that they never stay together on this show, other than Ryan & Krista. "rolling my eyes",I cannot stand people talking smack about me, all I try to do is blog my comments , and I have all this negativity around me. UGH!!!!!!!!!
He is so sexy. I love him really. It is said that he is dating with a massage specialist at punspa.com, where you can get many excellent services such as, movie, music, chat and so on.
Canadian beer drinkers factor in global warming! I sh!t you not FOX news. Too funny!
