Despite reports that Angelina Jolie is out as the face of St. John, Usmagazine.com can confirm that the mother of four is still the line’s spokesmodel.
"Rumors that St John has fired Angelina Jolie are untrue," the company's spokesperson tells Us. "She appears in the current St John's campaign and she will appear in the upcoming Spring campaign as well."
Back when Jolie, 32, signed with St. John in September 2005, the company’s chief executive officer, Richard Cohen, had nothing but praise for the actress.
“Angelina Jolie embodies so many qualities of what St. John represents,” said Cohen. “She is strong, independent and dynamic. She’s a mother, actress and a philanthropist.”
At the time, Jolie released a statement saying that she was eager to partner with the clothing line. “I am a working mother who has set goals to accomplish a lot in this world,” she said. “I want my wardrobe to be beautiful, sexy and comfortable — all at the same time. St. John is all of those things.”

From 7/2006 to 9/2007, the stock has been trading between 29-30. Stock price does fluctuate, ask any investor, they'll tell you. A range of $29- 30 is nothing unusual. Where is the spike? Dont write LIES. On 9/17/07, the closing price was $29.15. On 9/18/07, the price was $30.50. Since then, there is no info from the internet that you and I can find the data."

You obviously don't understand what goes on in the stock market and why different entities invest. You also need to learn to read the charts. You can scroll your mouse over the chart on MSN to verify the data I have presented. I have also observed that people that readily accuse others of lying are prone to lying themselves. Just give it up and admit that there has been no good news coming out of this company in the past two years that would justify a higher stock price.

If you say her godmother is on the board of directors, bring us the concrete evidence, give us the link so that WE CAN CHECK YOUR SOURCE. So far, you just talked, but NO PROOF.
I can also argue hiring Angie SLOWS DOWN THE SLIDING of this company.

Many charities and many countries lobby our government to money - educate yourself and see how much we give out in foreign aid - all with taxpayer dollars. Do you hate those charities and foreign governments for lobbying our government? I'm glad to see your compassion is spot-on. Why would she need to hire a publicist when she can donate money, call the press, and get free publicity because the donation is a tax write off? I think that's shady. Why can't she just donate privately or do a good deed without alerting the press? And how does she affect me personally? I swear I read somewhere that Jacqueline Bisset, Angelina Jolie's godmother, serves on the Board of Directors of St. John. Something in me went, "A-HA!" So that's how she got that job: Working her looks and family connections (all while blowing off her father), as usual. That's the only way she gets anything done in the entertainment and fashion industries. St. John profits actually did decline after her first campaign. She is not in keeping with the style of women who wear that line.

As for WHY she is with them, check out their board membership: Like I said earlier, I would bet money that her godmother, Jacqueline Bisset, is somehow affiliated with the company, which is why Angelina Jolie is there and why they won't drop her. Angelina Jolie can't get anything done in Hollywood without her looks or family connections (or, now, Brad Pitt.)
