When it comes to having kids, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt say "the more the merrier."

Jolie dropped by The Daily Show With Jon Stewart on Thursday and confessed that she and Pitt intend to expand their brood.

Stewart asked the 32-year-old actress how many kids she plans on having beyond the four she already has.

“Do you like the four?" he asked. "How high are we going, do you think?”

“Hmm, it fluctuates between seven and 13 or 14,” Jolie laughed.

Stewart looked impressed. “Wow, because I’ll tell you this, I admire that because two is kicking my ass!”

“Four is kind of kicking our ass,” Jolie admitted, “but we kind of feel like, damn it, we're up for the challenge!”

When asked if she is exhausted, Jolie responded, “I’m great. I have got a big crazy happy family and I’m used to chaos and I’m very, very, very lucky.”

She also addressed allegations that she refused to talk to reporters at the Wednesday premiere of A Might Heart unless they first signed a contract forbidding them from asking her questions about her personal relationships.

The actress told Stewart that her lawyer had drafted the contract and distributed it without her knowledge. “There was a memo that went out to ask people in a very direct way, if they would sign it, that said focus -- basically don't get into personal questions -- focus on the movie and things like that," she said. "But it was not mandatory."

“But again, I never -- I didn't put it out there,” she continued. “It was from my representatives trying to be protective of me but it was excessive and I wouldn’t have put it out there. But it’s all right and nobody was forced to do it.”

Jolie’s lawyer, Robert Offer confirmed to The New York Times that he had indeed put out the statement without consulting Jolie. He apologized for being a “bone-headed, overzealous lawyer.”

“This was my creating something to protect her from the press’s talking about personal matters, a document that would limit discussion to the film,” he told the Times. "But it was drafted overly broadly. It was well intended, but I understand how it was received.”
