Why do some of these comments keep callin jamie's pregnancy a mistake... nothin in this world such as a baby could be a mistake.. it may be an inconvienance at the moment but you will learn that bringin a baby into the world is not a mistake but a precious gift from god and that everything happens for a reason n just like one of these people said.. she is not the first 16 year old to be pregnant so why is it such a big deal.. yea she is the one who told the magazines that she was.. no she didnt have to tell them but she chose to instead of havin her picture takin then RUMORS n GOSSIP going around about it.. might as well get it done n over with ya know.. the best thing for everyone to do is show her love n support at least she is being responsible for this child.. she is letting it live a normal life not that life that half of us dream about.. she may be young but so what she is very mature about the whole thing n thats why ppl need to stop the drama about her being pregnant ...**JAMIE I SUPPORT YOU!!***

Im a 16 year old female and im 8 months pregnant.. Im also dating a 19 year old. I see nothing wrong with Jamie being pregnant and i stand behide her 110%.
See all of you older parents think it is wrong to be a teen mother.. But i bet over 90% of you where teenmothers yourself! Judgeing Jamie on Brittanys mistakes is just wrong and immature. I think that girls that use the excuse that "Zoey101" is pregnant is just lame.. It wasnt Jamie laying there now was it? It was your daughter who made that disision.. I think that you really need to take a serious look at this.
One parents need to see this and wonder if they were like this girls parents that got pregant and if they need to change their course. I think that if Spears had better role model in her life things wouldn't have ended up like this.
I honestly think that Spears pregancy needs to be kept private but the topic of teen pregancy needs to be expanded and shown every day if possible. I know that sounds weird but think about it. If you hear something over and over and over again doesn't get programed in your mind and when you go have sex make you think twice.
I would also like to suggest to any teenage out their that is not already involved in a youth group get involved. Having God in your life and seeing how wonderful and REAL friend is shows you alot about the people you hang out with.
Kids I would honestly, and just try this, go one the internet and look up the cons of pregancy since you know the pros right... having sex, which in my opition is not cool. Do that for about 10 minutes and then if your up for the challenge go look up teen pregancy on a Christian site and see their believes.
Also, reading the one comment made me think, are you really knowledge about raising a child? You have have the book smarts but do you have the wisdom your parents have. Do you know how to balance a check book for purchases for your child? Do you have a job that can support your child so that they have the needs that they need to blossom into adulthood? Are you the example that they want to set for them in the past?

I dont think airing one would help..... and i still dont have a problem with Jamie-lynn being a role model.... I believe kids will make there own decisions no matter what the parents say... Kids bascially do what the really want..... And the more the parents push there teenagers not to and dont let them watch her show anymore or whatever the more anxious the teenager gets and wants to do anything there parents dont want them to..... bascially if the teenage wants to do it they will find a way to do it..... So as i look at it if your child wants to and the more you try and stop them the more they want to do it.... so i believe the parents need to talk to them about it...but dont push and your teenager will make the right decision based on how they feel but if you push the child will do it and pick the decision that may not be best... just to piss there parents off........ And as for Jamie- Lynn she has stepped up and took responsibility for her actions.... the decision she felt that was best.....

i am a teenager 16 years in fact and i think what happened to jamie is sad. in another magazine who interviewed her jamie said "she made an adult mistake by getting pregnant now she is going to have to think like an adult " i think she is doing the right thing. everyone is saying so much rude stuff about her like saying she isnt a role model for younger kids and all sorts of stuff like that but i think jamie still is a role model i know she still is mine. she is showing how she made a bad decision and how she is turning it around for the good. she is showing young teenage moms that they can keep their baby and be a good mother no matter what trails and errors they go through. i think more than ever girls will be looking up to her. why should people be hating on her she is only 16 she doesnt need that right now she needs support and prayer. it is not like she is the first teenager to get pregnant i mean common people how many teenage girls get pregnant a year alot of them do this is nothing new. but yet since she is famous it is a bad thing that this happened. that is how our world today thinks. what is this nation coming to a poor innocent girl should not be treated like this no matter if she is famous or poor no matter what color she is she should be treated equal that is what the constitution says that all men are created equal. if want to take all of jamie's shows of the air then we would have to take away all other teenage girls careers who had babies when they were teenagers. at least jamie is not having an abortion if she was that would be a different issue then she would deserve all of this because she would be killing an innocent child. but she is not thats the difference.

Jamie Lynn Spears made a big mistake by getting pregnant. Of course, she is not a good role model at all. I do think that it is right to teach children about the complexities of life. However, the target audience for the show was 9-14, and i believe that some of the kids watching are a little too young to learn about this side of life just yet. Even though this is the case, i do not believe it is necessary to cancel the show, nor to create a new show about sex and love. Both of these options would just expand the issue, and not resolve any of the problems concerning the young audience being exposed to adult-type info. The show should just go on as it is, and parents around the world should either wait, if their kids are too young, or talk to their kids about the issue of underage sex and pregnancy. After all, this could have happened to anyone. Also, the spears family have been going through a lot of turmoil recently, with britney's ongoing court battles, drugs, and alcooholism. Those are not easy things to cope with when you are a 16 year old girl. The point is she is not a role model, but she is human and made a mistake. The biggest problem is not Jamie's pregnancy, but the agents, companies, and press that promote these kind of private matters. Jamie should be dealing with her mother right now, not with her fans and the press. I think we should be alittle more understanding of Jamie, and focus rather on the company that promotes this kind of issue. And Jamie's mom should do a better job looking out for her daughter.

Now, I know that everyone makes mistakes in their lives but what Miss Spears has done is rocked the foundation of moral teachings for children. And also, it is statutory rape! Will her boyfriend be held responsible for his actions, or given the same preferential treatment that the stars get. Then the network wants to make a segment about it... and instead of saying due to the choices that you have made you no longer fit the role of a young girl at a boarding school... and you need to accept that for your actions we cannot support that part of your life, they want to celebrate ANOTHER underage, unmarried young girl carrying a child. What does that say to our children... DO NOT AIR AN EPISODE ABOUT SEX AND LOVE because even though she may say she loves him and he says he loves her and you want to "teach" consequences through doing this IT IS RAPE!!!! THIS PROGRAM IS TARGETED AT 9-14 YR OLDS! DO NOT ROMANTICIZE RAPE TO OUR CHILDREN! Please.
