Amy Winehouse will not be attending Sunday's Grammy Awards after all.
She has been denied a U.S. Visa, her rep said in a statement Thursday.
"Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery," The Outside Organization, which counts the troubled retro-soul sensation among its clients, said in a statement obtained by the Associated Press.
She may not miss out on Sunday's awards show: A source close to the singer tells Us she may appear on the Grammys via satellite.
The singer, 24, checked into rehab last month after British tabloid The Sun released a video of her apparently using a crack pipe.

But detainees in Guantanamo get better treatment than you or me...and am not an illegal I was never illegal in this country...And am consider myself US citizen, even though I was not born here. 2:40: I was just in Hawaii last March for a family vacation and YES we thought it was awesome BUT I had to laugh at the comment you made because while there we noted there were more vacationer's from other countries, and not just one certain country, than from our own mainland.

You are arrogant for no reason, for the most part uneducated, unrefined, vulgar, most of you don't even own a passport because your idea of a good vacation is staying at the best western in Vegas or Disney World. When you go on spring break, you go to florida to get drunk and break the law, when you get married, you go to Hawaii, wow, an exotic destination, still within American soil and don't stop talking about it for months. You now have a third world currency, presidential elections where one candidate steals votes in the state where his brother is the governor, a president who gets appointed to do the same thing "daddy" did, just like in a banana republic, and you now have the bloody church involved in dictating politics. I was born here in the U.S and I can't even get a drivers license without some other form of I.D like a birth certificate. Why should it be any different for you? Do you deserve some special illegal priveleges that I don't know about? Yeah, you have it so hard. You can drive without a license or car insurance, and yes, you do get treated at hospitals or Doctors offices. Doctors will not turn you away if your life is in their hands.

Oh that is crap it is easier for an illegal to get state provided care in my state than it is for most regular American citizens... hell all one of them has to do is get knocked up and well there they go free health care for the family cause the baby was concieved on American soil! Look at it this way: considering the economy, consider yourself lucky that you can afford health care. If you don't have it, you can sit in the waiting room of a county hospital for up to 10 hours depending on the seriousness of your illness. What does an illegal immigrant have to do with that? 427- I don't know where you have been! Let me give you an example so you can get educated with this..(no disrespect.) My dad is a retired police officer who in the beginning of his career could automatically call immigration and have illegals deported-no questions asked. They can't do that anymore because of political correctness. We don't want to "offend " anyone. Anyways, a friend of mine got into an accident with an illegal who didn't have any car insurance and the cop treated the illegal the same way he treated my friend, with respect and it turns out that my friend has to pay for all the damages to her car even though the guy with no insurance hit her. Do you think that this is fair? What should we do in a situation like that? Rub their back and say, "It's ok. I understand." Heck no! Hospitals are obligated to treat people by ethics even if they don;t have money- so yes, illegals are getting free health care.

I dont know where in the states you are, but there is no way that illegals get medical care for free. I became US citizen 8 yrs ago and my 11 year old daghter at the time did not have legal papers was not allowed to have medical insurance. What is talking about must be something else. Like OLD people who have not worked in this country not even a day get SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE and of course I dont agree with it. THAT's my money and your money, given to someone else.
