Former Law & Order star Fred Thompson may have given up on politics, but he's not done with acting!
Thompson 65 — who dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination in January — has signed with the high-powered William Morris Agency, the Associated Press reports.
No word on his next project, but he'll like continue playing the authority-type roles he's flocked to in such flicks as The Hunt For Red October, Die Hard II and In the Line of Fire, the AP reports.
